The club house is open to non-golfers who would like to enjoy a refreshment while they wait for their family or friends to finish their round. Backbone Golf and Country Club is located near the north entrance of Backbone State Park just a short drive from Strawberry Point. This recently remodeled course provides 9 holes of challenging golf with the tree line of Backbone State Park bordering it to the east and south. While this course was built in the late 1960's, recent improvements have not only accented the beauty of its rolling fairways but also the challenges that face occasional and avid players alike.
